High School Multicultural, Environmental, Leadership Program
The Connections Program
Provides high school students with an immersion opportunity that helps create a better understanding of the multicultural and diverse nature of our schools and our society. Incredible students from around the province come together to develop new friendships and connections while developing cross-cultural understandings and leadership skills
The Connections Program encourages students to:
- Work together to combat stereotyping, racism, prejudice, and discrimination
- Foster cross-cultural understanding
- Effectively deal with ethnocentrism, stereotyping and prejudice
- Develop leadership skills
- Connect with the natural environment
